Foreign mercenaries subcontracted by NATO flee Ukraine at first Russian attack

AHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAH.

And this is why you don’t hire foreigners only interested in the money, instead of enlisting men from your own country, unless, of course, your alternative to defend your country consists of having a batallion full of baby-raping neo nazis, but those are the horrors of war, I guess.

Following the Russian army’s attack on the NATO training camp at Yavorovsky, on the Ukrainian border with Poland, the foreign mercenaries who traveled there to “kill Russians” have fled to Poland (1).

The Russian attack on the Yavorovsky base has claimed the lives of some 180 adventurers who were training at its facilities. The surviving remnants of the foreign legion have fled to Poland.

Lviv Governor Maxim Kozitsky reported that the number of missiles launched by the army had been 30, but that some had been shot down in the air by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense.

“The entire foreign legion has been wiped out,” recounts one of the Brazilian mercenaries who escaped the attack (2). “For every person in the West who is bored and thinks that adventure in Ukraine is a good plan, please look your mother in the eyes and give her a kiss on the forehead and promise that you will live your life to be a good son to her. It is not worth getting yourself killed in Ukraine.”

Recently, in an interview, Tiago Rossi, a 28-year-old sniper, had said that he would “shoot all the invaders” who had attacked Ukraine and that he was not afraid of war. He has now fled to Poland, where he writes stories on his Instagram account about how “a Russian fighter jet destroyed an entire military base with a single missile.”

Rossi posted photos featuring other Brazilian mercenaries, such as businessman Christopher Mitiel, Brazilians from France Jefferson Claydian (a former soldier in Rio de Janeiro’s military police) and one J. Gomez.

Another mercenary, Jefferson Kleidian writes on social networks: “Thank God for another day of life. Sad for the friends who lost their lives in the attack on our base.”

At the Yavorovsky military base the U.S. military trained Ukrainians in urban guerrilla techniques (3).

The New York Times has confirmed that at the time of the Russian attack there were also U.S. mercenaries at the training camp. One of them, Nolan Petrson, boasted on his Twitter account. “Food, water and ammo are running low. The mood is somber as guys send their last messages to friends and family,” he says in one of his posts.

The concept of a mercenary openly boasting about the killings on social media on the first place is a really baffling idea, but you know, let the guy be, if has time to tweet, he has time to die as well.

Peterson is a special operations veteran who fought in Afghanistan. He arrived in Ukraine on February 24, before the war began.
