The smart alecs who tell us “I can filter” the lies and manipulations are very pretentious. Pavlovian engineering is stronger than we are. In an avalanche of information, between two truths there is a hoax that infiltrates your subconscious. The slightest of these lies obtains an effect of euphemism in our minds.
The “doctrinal” force of television is multiplied tenfold by the fact that the mind watches and listens to its flow without having time to reflect, time to put things in perspective. We don’t have the time to pick apart the true from the false, to see the instrumentalization of certain truthful data submerged in the broth of lies. We are not all experts in everything. Who is? The scholar is rare. The effect of “whatever a Being sees and hears, his mind believes it” is added. With these two axes combined, our brain is cluttered, unable to sort out what is going on. The longer we stay in front of the hypnosis box, the more dependent we become on its doxa. The post-production industry takes great pleasure in indoctrinating us with its images and subliminal montages. They force-feed us with propaganda, as they do with geese. For the latter it is the liver that deteriorates, for us it is the spirit.
The basis of manipulation is simple and is practiced by all those who want to convey a message, an orientation, a dogma. It consists in using an authentic truth and attaching to it more or less coarse lies, more or less coming from sources of corrupt official institutes. The Covid case is a perfect example. Thus, it creates a state in the listener. If the state is open and therefore conducive to the integration of false reasoning, it develops false purposes to build a new “truth”. The latter can become a new support, a new basis for building new precepts, new sacred axioms, according to the new objectives of manipulation. And so on, according to dictatorial interests.
On the contrary, if the mental state of the target is not receptive or even hostile, it takes the initial truth and reformulates it with another, more refined lie. If the state is still not open to its development, he repeats the process until the desired state of openness is reached. If necessary, he adds a second true truth to destabilize the expectant spectator. Sooner or later, the addressee falls into his trap because of the recurrence of the discourse. A lie repeated 1000 times becomes a truth.
The more ignorant and naive the listener is, the faster you will get the desired state from him. As Günther Anders said, “An uneducated individual has only a limited horizon of thought, and the more his thinking is limited to material and mediocre concerns, the less he can rebel.” It is not for nothing that television constantly uses the emotional fiber that disconnects the Logos in favor of the Pathos. The female audience and the open-minded young people are very sensitive and fatally victimized. It is no secret that social engineering uses the emotional, including fear, to circumvent reason. Auguste Le Bon has largely explained this phenomenon.
Television is our enemy par excellence. Everything it produces has a single objective: to mold us, to format us, to turn us into mere doctrinal repeaters. And it does it to perfection. The day after a television evening, people talk about what they have seen on the screen. Since everyone has seen the same thing, regardless of the broadcasting channel, the collective integrates the general discourse of the control tower to its regret. As a certain author said: “When everyone thinks the same thing, it is proof that no one thinks anymore”. Before there were Panurge’s sheep, now there are the sheep of television. They all end up in the slaughterhouse.
If you want to be human again, if you want to think for yourself, if you want to regain your own personality and your freedom, then you have to throw the television in the garbage. It will find its natural place.
